How to find us

58 Waterloo Road
Macquarie Park, NSW 2113

We are located on the ground floor of Building 2, 58 Waterloo Road - just follow the Venture Café flags and signage. When you arrive, be sure to check in 15 minutes early with one of our Ambassadors, who are super friendly; they will show you where to go after registering at the kiosk.

public transport

Macquarie Park station is 350m flat walk and in May 2019 the new Sydney Metro will arrive/depart every 4 minutes during peak - in the meantime use StationLink here. 1,000’s of buses service the area from Ryde to the far reaches of Sydney - plan your trip now.

Keoride or cohop

Being the innovative bunch that we are in Mac Park why not try the Keoride on-demand bus service or try Cohop Connect’s very own on demand carpooling app - make it a date every Thursday!

Driving

There is limited reserved parking available outside of 58 Waterloo Road entrance (Goodman building - Waterloo Rd Corporate Centre) - please let hannah@venturecafesydney know if you require this particularly if you have special mobility requirements. Alternatively, there is paid council parking available on Giffnock Avenue behind Venture Café.

What makes venture cafe So special?

  1. Venture Café is NOT a "networking" event nor a "Happy Hour"

    We call it a Gathering so that people can feel safe to come and connect with others without the pressure of a sale (or getting asked out). Our Golden Rules: Don't sell too much, don't drink too much.

  2. The sessions are about learning and expanding our ideas, not a chance to sell a service

    Guests should be able to leave with knowledge they didn’t previously have, or an idea that sparks action or a new way of thinking. They should foster discussions and get people thinking. This is a test kitchen, a place to try new ways of enlightening people.

  3. We do not share our lists with any group

    If you would like to connect with participants in your session, you will be responsible for collecting names and emails.

  4. We are professional and friendly

    Sessions are not about attacking or criticising each other; it should be a safe space to discuss ideas. We encourage helpful and constructive feedback, but if guests are being rude or pulling conversation too far off course, please remind guests that this is not the place to air personal grievances.
