Workshop: Understanding the world with Vision AI

Navigating through a complex world requires understanding what's happening and what's going to happen. Humans heavily rely on sight for most of their activities. We expect artificial intelligence to process visual information equally well, if not better. But this is a complex problem with many challenges.

In this talk we'll draw from our many years of experience in computer vision and machine learning:

  • What you need to know to engage with state of the art vision AI

  • How does "deep learning" bring within reach what was previously considered science fiction

  • Is vision AI limited to interpreting observations, or can it be creative too

Led by:

Dr Jeroen Vendrig is a vision AI R&D leader and innovator

Dr Nagita Mehrseresht is a vision data scientist
