Is a unique opportunity for Australian startups to meet and establish a partnership with Schaeffler Japan, a top automotive and industrial supplier with superior competencies in mechatronic solutions. We are especially scouting for new solutions in the field of robotics and urban mobility.

About Schaeffler Technology Partnering Asia-Pacific 2019 –

This is a concrete opportunity for startups with innovative solutions in robotics and urban mobility out of Asia-Pacific (Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines) to collaborate with Schaeffler Japan and prove and/or further develop their technology in a joint development project to get support for product testing and mass production as well as establish Customer-supplier relationships. The final event, Schaeffler Technology Partnering Asia-Pacific 2019, is a two-day event on June 4-5, 2019 in Yokohama, Japan. Selected startups will be invited to personally meet several representatives and decision makers of Schaeffler Japan to identifying solid collaboration opportunities and taking the first step. We are especially looking for solutions in the field of:

  • Mobile platforms (new approaches of vehicles transporting goods or persons etc.)

  • Robot Arms (pick-and-place systems for applications in various environments, obstacle recognition, position detection, and visual inspection etc.)

  • Control & Perception (enabling robots and automated systems to perceive their environment)

  • Energy Solutions (solutions that make mobile platforms more reliable, operating for longer periods of time or with less downtime are highly interesting)
